Vice head's message
Dental anesthesiology is a field that applies its knowledge and skills to patient management during dental treatment.
For example, patients who are afraid of dental treatment can be comfortably treated with sedation, and patients with serious heart disease, for whom dental treatment is considered dangerous, can be safely treated while their heart function is monitored.
In an aging society, people with certain diseases will have more opportunities to receive dental treatment in the future. Dental anesthesiology will be increasingly needed to deal with these individuals.
