On Thursday, April 30, 2026, a delegation from the Faculty of Dentistry, Universiti Malaya visited our hospital, led by Deputy Dean Zuraiza Mohd Zaini, together with Professor Noor Hayaty Abu Kasim, Science Officer Intan Suhana Abdul Hamid, and Assistant Registrar Nurmarziana Aizie Mohd Yaziz. They paid a courtesy visit to Professor Takashi YAMASHIRO, Director of the Dental Hospital, and Professor Kazuhiko NAKANO, Dean of the Graduate School of Dentistry.
Also in attendance from our hospital were Professor Masahide TAKEDACHI, Director of the Center for Translational Dental Research, Professor Narikazu UZAWA, Director of the Center for Oral Cancer, and Associate Professor Kazunori NOZAKI, Director of the Division for Oral Dental Informatics.
Following the courtesy visit, the delegation toured the Division for Oral Dental Informatics, the Center for Translational Dental Research, and the Center for Oral Cancer. At each department, the visitors asked many questions about ongoing research and related activities, and the tour provided an opportunity for active discussion and exchange of views on research and facilities in Malaysia and Japan.
