Director's message

Division for Oral-Facial Disorders was established in 1973 as a department in charge of speech and language dysfunction in patients with cleft palate. Based on our knowledge and experience in the treatment of words, I am now involved in the treatment of all oral functions.
The mouth has important functions such as speaking, eating, swallowing, and breathing. However, various diseases such as cleft palate, stroke, cancer, sleep apnea, and dry mouth can impair important oral function. We would like to help patients who are having trouble with oral disorders.
