On November 26, 2025, Associate Professor Alvin YEO and ten other members from the National University of Singapore and the National Dental Centre Singapore visited the Graduate School of Dentistry at the University of Osaka and the University of Osaka Dental Hospital. The delegation made a courtesy visit to Graduate School Dean Kazuhiko NAKANO and Director Takashi YAMASHIRO. The visit was facilitated by Sunstar Singapore Pte. Ltd.
The group was guided by Professor Masahide TAKEDACHI and Specially Appointed Professor Shinya MURAKAMI from the Department of Periodontology and Regenerative Dentistry, the Graduate School of Dentistry. They toured Periodontics and Endodontics as well as the Center for Translational Dental Research. Afterwards, both parties exchanged opinions and engaged in discussions on the latest research related to periodontology. Further development of international academic exchange and research collaboration is expected.
