Utilization of Clinical Information at the University of Osaka Dental Hospital for Clinical Research Purposes
Various clinical researches are conducted at the University of Osaka Dental Hospital. These researches are carried out in accordance with the "Ethical Guidelines for Human Genome/Gene Analysis Research" (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology; Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare; Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry), following the deliberation of the Ethics Review Committee of the Graduate School/ School of Dentistry, the University of Osaka and the University of Osaka Dental Hospital, which is then approved by the Dean. Depending on the nature of the clinical research, information recorded in the medical records of patients who have received treatment at out hospital, such as diagnostic imaging findings (including X-ray images), clinical examination data, and dental casts, may be used after being anonymized to ensure that individuals cannot be identified. We kindly ask for your understanding and consent in advance.
