Brazilian Dental Delegation Pays Courtesy Visit _ March 7, 2025<\/summary>\n

On Friday, March 7, 2025, a delegation of 11 dentists from Brazil, led by Mr. Harashima, President of SHOFU Brazil, visited our hospital and paid a courtesy visit to Prof. Murakami, the Director of the Center for Global Oral Health (CGOH). A Brazilian student currently studying at the Graduate School of Dentistry joined the cordial meeting and presented her research activities and introduced her life in Japan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By attending a lecture by Professor Nakano of the Pediatric Dentistry and visiting clinics and facilities in our hospital, the delegation deepened their understanding of Japanese dental care and our hospital.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n

28 June 2024, Dr. Tsendsuren, M.D., from the National University of Mongolia, and other second-year orthodontic residents paid a courtesy visit to Professor Murakami, the Director of The Center for Global Oral Health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They came to Japan to participate in the 32nd Annual Meeting of Japan Association of Adult Orthodontics held in Tokyo, and then visited the Osaka University Dental Hospital under the guidance of Dr. Chen Mingyu, a graduate of Osaka University. They had tour to Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the tour, Xu Lin, a graduate student of the Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, shared her research about the mechanism of face formation using mouse models and bioinformatic technologies. They discussed her findings and explored potential clinical applications with the visiting group.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

President of the International Association of DentoMaxilloFacial Radiology Pays Courtesy Visit_June 3, 2024<\/summary>\n

Dr. Rose Ngu, President of the International Association of DentoMaxilloFacial Radiology (IADMFR) and Head of Guy\u2019s & St Thomas\u2019 NHS Foundation Trust (GSTT NHS Trust) in the UK, paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Takashi Yamashiro, Director of Osaka University Dental Hospital, on June 3rd, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Ngu\u2019s visit was prompted by positive feedback from GSTT NHS Trust dentists who participated in the International Resident Course for Foreign Dental Practitioners in May conducted at our hospital. During the meeting with Dr. Yamashiro, Dr. Ngu expressed her appreciation for the well-structured training program and conveyed her hope for continued collaboration and exchange between the two institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
